Last Updated: January 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Abhiraj Portfolio & Dev Tools ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Our app collects minimal information to provide its services:
- User Authentication: We use Supabase for secure email/password authentication. Only your email address and encrypted password are stored on Supabase servers. Your email must be verified before full app access. Authentication data is used solely for account security and session management.
- Project Data: We use Firebase Realtime Database to store and display portfolio projects. This data is publicly accessible and does not contain personal information.
- Syllabus Data: We use Firebase Realtime Database to store and display MCS (Master of Computer Science) syllabus information including courses, semesters, subjects, units, topics, and case studies. This educational content is publicly accessible.
- Local Storage: The app uses local storage (SharedPreferences) to cache project data, syllabus content, and user preferences. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.
- Calculator History: Calculation history is stored locally using Hive database (up to 100 recent calculations). This data remains on your device only.
- Files: When you use the HTML/CSS/JS editor, Markdown editor, or Web Viewer download feature, files are saved locally to your device's Download folder. We do not access or transmit these files.
- User Preferences: Settings such as default tab selection are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences.
